Room 10 RBS

After we had brainstormed what each of the pictures might mean we wrote our own stories about the pictures. Here are some of them:

One day a girl went for a walk to the Adventure Park.

First she played in the underground tunnel.

Next she went to climb a tree.

After that she went down a slide.

Then she caught a bus and went home.

Once upon a time a troll named Lia was walking to her pot.

Then a big bird flew down and almost got her, but she hid just in time.

When it was gone she climbed up to her slide.

Then she fell down into her pool for a paddle.

Once upon a time there lived a troll called Dood.

One day she decided to go for a walk. She found a pot plant with a tree in it so she hopped into it and hid, but nobody came.

Then she climbed a bit higher.

Next she climbed right to the top to look at the view for a while.

After that she got a bit bored so she decided to slide down to go home and have a quiet rest after all that climbing.

While Ms F was at the Learning@School conference she learned about 5 frame digital story telling. Ms F and Mrs M took some photos to tell a story. When Room 10 looked at the photos they came up with all the things they thought could be happening in each photo.
