5 Frame Digital Story Telling
While Ms F was at the Learning@School conference she learned about 5 frame digital story telling. Ms F and Mrs M took some photos to tell a story. When Room 10 looked at the photos they came up with all the things they thought could be happening in each photo.
troll with a magic wand robot troll going to a friend’s house troll in the library troll walking away from/going to draw on the chalkboard abandoned/lost/forgotten/alone troll standing/playing
pot plant stick silver ferm the troll’s friend’s house a jungle a treehouse a playground for the troll a place to have a tree party a troll rollercoaster
climbing to rescue someone climbing to go sky diving walking on stilts climbing a beanstalk/frame/to the top/up a tree sliding down a stalk escaping from a dog attack building a tree house lost and climbing to see where she is trapped in a cage on a secret mission going to play monopoly in the tree house
sliding down a waterfall sleeping lost in a dark forest climbing up backwards going bungy jumping on a slide in a booby trap sunbathing climbing down into a pool
going down to go for a walk stretching falling down it’s the quick way to get down watering the plant being sucked into a time warp escaping from a water blaster winning a race she’s a magical creature who can change into other things (because of the blur) she’s being zapped by an alien she’s falling and dying she’s having a shower being sucked up a vacuum cleaner being sucked up with a straw water is being poured over her

I know a forest-dwelling, gnome-ish pixie person who may have left you a message. She is also an excellent teacher like yours is.

Ms F and Mrs M have created a fabulous 5 Frame Story. I made lots of 5 Frame Stories with my class last year and they just loved it. I’m going to show my Year 3 class how to do it this year too. I can’t wait until you all start making your own 5 Frame Stories. My class and I will be visiting your blog as often as we can.
